Designer: Alessandra Ambrosio shows off her Ále line swimwear in the latest Ocean Drive magazine
Alessandra Ambrosio is too busy to get involved in 'stupid' catfights with other models.
The
Brazilian stunner claims she never focuses on 'negative things' such as
rivalries with her fellow cover girls, and is far too busy in her
personal life to waste time being jealous.
Speaking in an interview with Ocean Drive magazine,
she said of her peers: 'We get inspired by each other. They're my
coworkers, they're gorgeous, and everyone there has their own
spotlight.'
'Maybe today it's my turn to wear the Fantasy Bra, but next year, it's going to be someone else,' she said.
'When you have kids at home, there are way more important things to worry about. I don't focus on negative things; I try to focus on good things, and I'm [too] busy in my personal life to give my time to something stupid.'
Jealous?: Green is not this supermodel's colour
And that's not all the 33-year-old doesn't have time for.
With such an enormous online following - including 1.2million Twitter users - it is inevitable she will attract the odd troll here and there. But she simply ignores the haters.
'I don't even take it personally anymore,' she claimed. 'There are so many different opinions. If I read and I don't like it, I'm like, whatever... You can't listen to what everybody says; you have to be yourself.'
Beach bod: You don't have to have a figure like the 33-year-old stunner to wear her designs... but it helps
In her latest photoshoot, Ambrosio shows off her newest 'Brazil-bohemia-meets-Malibu-chic lifestyle' swimwear from her Ále line, which she designs herself... and what better body to showcase it than her own.
While it might be hard to believe the mother-of-two eats junk food, she admits she will 'splurge' from time to time... as long as she counters it with a week of healthy eating.
BFFs: Don't let the pouts fool you, Ambrosio was really delighted to share the catwalk with Adriana Lima
'When I was young, I didn't care. Now, if I eat two days of junk food, I feel terrible, and then you have to do a cleanse to feel good,' she said.
'Sometimes I'll splurge. I was at a music festival this whole weekend, and they didn't have anything really healthy, so I was eating chicken tenders, but now I'm going to have sushi this week and nice, clean food, like salad. It's all about balancing and trying to stay healthy.'
'We're just as human as everybody else,' she added, 'and nobody is perfect.'
