Manchester United striker Robin van Persie says he is unhappy with his scoring form and believes it is "vital" the club wins the FA Cup.
Louie van Gaal's side have scored 36 times in 22 top-flight games, with Van Persie hitting eight in 20 outings.
"I am not happy with that, I want to score more," the Netherlands international told BBC Sport.
"At the moment, it is not enough. I know that. I will do everything I can to improve that."
United were held to a goalless draw by League Two Cambridge in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Friday.
Van Persie said it was important United lift the trophy in May after 11 years without success in the competition.
"I think it is vital, especially with this cup," added the 31-year-old.
