A no nonsense barber has created the ultimate punishment for naughty boys - by giving them an old man's haircut.
Parents fed up of their unruly kids are being asked to take them to A-1 Kutz in Snelville, Georgia and ask for a 'Benjamin Button Special'.
Russell Frederick will then step in and carve out the shape of an old man's bald patch - giving the youngsters the shock of their lives.
Fans of the punishment believe it's a way of righting the wrongs of badly behaved children who are trying to "act grown up".
It's only temporary of course before the back and sides are shaved off - but it's a free service offered without any extra charges.
The style copies that of Benjamin Button, played in the film by Brad Pitt, who ages backwards meaning he looks like an old man while he's still a young child.
Barber Russell believes it's an effective alternative to using physical punishment.
He told the Washington Post: "There are a few people that are saying it’s emotional abuse; but on average, everyone is applauding the mother that brought the child in — and applauding me as well.
“Parents are at a loss, when you go to discipline kids these days, they can’t necessarily use physical punishment they way parents did in the past, but they have to do something.
"If you don’t, and your kid ends up doing something crazy, everyone is going to say the problems started at home.”
The first to get the new treatment was a 10-year-old boy brought in by a single mother, who told Russell she was looking for a way to punish him for being naughty at school.
Russell added: “I hope that most people won’t have to do this unless it’s an extreme circumstances and nothing else is working.
“First, you talk or implement your restrictions. But when the conventional ways don’t work these days, you have to get creative.”
The youngster was initially startled by the haircut and the lesson seemed to get through to him before the rest of his head was shaved off and he walked out with a smile.
