actress Anna Friel in the new upcoming drama American Odyssey.
The British Actress has been cast in the lead role of Sergeant Odelle Ballard in the newly commissioned NBC show.
A
different move for the beautiful actress, she will play a female
solider who has been betrayed and left trying to return home from
Northern Africa.
As she tries to communicate that she is still alive she is taken hostage by locals.
She
soon works out that the hit was carried out by Americans and explains
to a young man that she is what the foreign troops are looking for.
Clinging
on to her survival she is then dressed in a headscarf and moved on by
her captors, but not before a photograph has been sent to Al Jazeera.

As
the picture goes viral both her loved ones and her enemies are learn
that she is still alive and both work on what they can do about it.
Corporate
litigator Peter Decker (played by Peter Facinelli) finds himself
working with the immoral company and as he begins to connect the dots
discovers just how deep the corruption goes.
He
works with Harrison Walters (Jake Robinson), a political activist and a
hacker, Bob Offer (Nate Mooney) to try to publicly unearth the truth.
