Wayne Rooney pictured leaving hotel following Phil Bardsley boxing storm

Wayne Rooney has been pictured for the first time since the emergence of the now infamous boxing video.
Footage has emerged which appears to show the Manchester United skipper being knocked out by Stoke defender Phil Bardsley.
The pair are pictured sparring in Rooney's kitchen before he is caught with a swift left hand and falling to the floor.

The incident is believed to have occurred late last month.
Manchester United take on Tottenham later today where it remains to be seen whether Rooney keeps his place following the incident.
Earlier this morning Bardsley's wife spoke out to suggest that the furore surrounding the incident has gone too far
