Man kills his dad on Fathers Day

MIGORI, Kenya  A middle-aged man was arrested in Migori on Sunday after allegedly killing his dad on Fathers Day. The man said to be mentally challenged is accused of beating his father to death over unknown reasons.
The incident occurred in Mikuro location of Suna West Sub County, according to police.
Authorities in Migori say the old man succumbed to injuries on arrival in hospital.
“His son is being held awaiting mental check up before he is arraigned over the killing,” local administrator Josphat Okinyi told reporters.
