The actress stars opposite Justin Long in Comet in the film that examines a couple’s relationship in a parallel universe.
In an interview with E! Online, Emmy said the movie follows a nonlinear narrative much like the 2009 hit, 500 Days Of Summer.
'The
rest of the film kind of jumps back and forth in time, a la 500 Days of
Summer…as they break up and make up as it unfolds, and it's strange and
fun.'
Emmy
will also be seen reprising her role as Fiona Gallagher in Showtime's
hit Shameless, when the fifth season premieres on January 11.
