Taking to the stage: One Direction performed during the Billboard's Hollywood Party section of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2015 in Los Angeles on Wednesday night
They've been hit by rumours of both Zayn Malik and Niall Horan being on the verge of quitting the band.
But
One Direction quashed all speculation by putting on a united front for
Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2015 TV special,
where they delivered a rock solid performance as usual.
The
boys serenaded fans with a selection of their biggest hits as they
conquered the stage during the Billboard's Hollywood Party segment of
the evening, which was pre-taped beforehand in Los Angeles.
They kicked off the broadcast with a bang thanks to toe-tapping tune What Makes You Beautiful, the song that catapulted them to stardom off the back of The X Factor and made them the biggest boy band in the world.
1D have reinvented themselves for their latest album, FOUR, pioneering an edgier look to match their rockier sound.
The boys - Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan - looked effortlessly cool in their stage clothes, with all of them rocking a muted palette and skinny jeans.

They made return trips to the stage to perform fan favourite songs including Steal My Girl, Story Of My Life and Little Things.
Host Fergie quizzed the boys what their best memory of 2014 had been, with Liam replying that their first ever stadium tour, Where We Are, was impossible to top.
And it's no surprise One Direction cited it as the highlight of their year since it has been revealed their tour was the highest-grossing of all artists worldwide in 2014, raking in a cool £180million.

On top of that, the lovable lads were also crowned the top selling act of 2014, performing to crowds of around 80,000 at some venues.
Let's hope 1D have made the most of their festive break since it won't be long before they're performing again for their On The Road Again tour.
