The
Carine Roitfeld art magazine enlisted lensman Michael Avedon and
make-up artist Tom Pecheux for the minimalist, b&w spread themed
'jolie laide' (pretty ugly).
'Like we say in France, beauty fades and charm grow,' Pecheux, also the contributing beauty editor, described.
